Remember when I told you that the job hunt was basically a game?  Do you ever wonder how does the Department of Labor arrive at those  “unemployed” stats? You would be surprised at their “daffy-nition” of who is and is not unemployed. I got this video through a favorite blog, “Connect and Collaborate” by Pat Nixon. Interesting folk who use their heads are commenting on the “catch-22” of  not being able to get a job because of not having a job (We know it as rule 3–pretend you’re not unemployed). Check in and add your voice.  The video’s  a hoot, but it did kick-start a little re-thinking about those authoritative numbers the Department of Labor is pushing off on the public about unemployment in this country.  Watch this:
